Woah, how did you make that?

The short answer is 3D printing and a little hard work to finish it off. After the spinning tops body is created layer by layer in a 3D printer, I start a more traditional process. I take it to be spun and polished for accuracy. Then I press in a bearing for a clean and precise contact point. Lastly I check the tops spin before I send it off to it's new home.

What bearing should I choose?

There might be other options out there but these are my personal recommendations...

For superior durability with out breaking the bank, go for Tungsten Carbide. For performance, go with the Silicon Nitride (Si3N4). If you want to combine performance and luxury, the Ruby tip is the one for you.
